MORE ABOUT ME
Struggling to grow your business during nap times, school lines, seeking balance? Been there, ready to guide you from survival to success!
Raise your hand if 2025 is flying by faster than you can say “fall mini sessions.” 🙋♀️
It’s officially halfway through the year — and whether your calendar is packed or feeling a little too open, this is your moment to pause and get intentional.
Because if you’re anything like me, it’s easy to get caught up in doing all the things without checking in on whether those things are actually… working.
Let’s fix that with a simple mid-year business audit I call:
✨ Keep, Tweak, Ditch
So many photographers plan their year in January and never look back. But guess what?
You’ve changed. Your business has evolved. Your life has probably shifted.
Now is the perfect time to:
Think of this as your business version of a closet clean-out — except you’re sorting through marketing efforts and workflows instead of last year’s cardigans.
What’s working beautifully right now?
Maybe it’s your referral program that’s brought in new clients every month.
Or the automated email welcome sequence that converts leads while you sleep.
Keep what’s aligned, effective, and brings you joy.
Personal Example:
My blog traffic has doubled since I started repurposing podcast content into blog posts (like this one!). That’s a keeper for sure.
What feels fine… but could be better?
Think:
Small improvements can make a big impact.
Yes, I said it. LET. IT. GO.
That mini session type you hate doing but keep offering because “people expect it”?
That Facebook group that drains your energy but doesn’t bring leads?
Those Canva templates that make your head hurt?
If it’s not aligned or profitable, give yourself permission to let it go.
Grab a notebook and spend five minutes journaling on this:
“If I could run my business in a way that felt fun, profitable, and easy — what would that look like?”
Then ask yourself what changes need to happen to get there.
Sometimes, all you need is a moment of clarity and a willingness to pivot.
This mid-year check-in is your chance to reset, realign, and move into the second half of the year with intention.
