A few weeks ago a friend called me asking for help with her daughter’s business idea. She wanted to know the best way to encourage her without taking over the project for her. I gave her a few ideas and then I got to thinking…are we raising our kids to think like entrepreneurs?

Entrepreneurial means confident, positive, creative, resourceful, and resilient. An entrepreneurial person is someone who is faced with a problem and works out the solution.

Sounds a lot like the traits I want my kids to have no matter what. So how can we raise children that have an entrepreneurial spirit?

This week on the Girl Means Business podcast, I’m breaking down some of the best tips for encouraging your kids to think like an entrepreneur.
